The main theme that runs through many of my works is the tension between the general and the specific. Simple, clear forms, such as geometric basic shapes or grid systems are contrasted with the chaotic, the unpredictable.

Johannes Schweighofer develops many of his works from drawing. These are characterized by intuition and impulsiveness.
