The cabaret artist Alfred Dorfer returns on January 22, 2027, with his new solo program “GLEICH” in the forumKLOSTER Gleisdorf. With his characteristic sharp humor, pointed social criticism, and his unmistakable style, Dorfer presents a cabaret one-man theater piece that goes far beyond classic entertainment.
Bears, carp, sunflowers, or grandmothers – the highly acclaimed satirist presents a variety of characters and bizarre situations on stage, telling a story with numerous narrative and temporal excursions that continually surprise the audience. Reality and fiction cleverly blur together as poetry, wordplay, philosophy, and imagination collide.
With charming confidence, much self-irony, and his legendary biting humor, Alfred Dorfer closely examines societal trends and the absurdities of everyday life. His precise gaze, linguistic virtuosity, and quick changes of role make "GLEICH" an intelligent, multi-layered, and highly relevant cabaret evening.
