Ägydimarket

Every year at the beginning of September, there is a festive atmosphere at the traditional Ägydi market, the local holiday in the high-altitude health resort Fischbach.

In addition to culinary and musical delights, visitors are offered a colorful program: From an agricultural machinery exhibition, a car show to a flea market, amusement park, livestock market, raffle, and much more, there is surely something for everyone!

When: August 29 - August 31, 2026

Saturday:

 - from 9 a.m.: Senior district hiking day
 - all day agricultural machinery, car and heating technology exhibition
 - Culinary & Arts and Crafts trade fair in the Teufelstein hall 
 - Aftershow "Ägydi Party" in the Disco Stadl Schurl

Sunday:

• 9:30 a.m.: Festive church service in the parish church
• 10:30 a.m.: Brunch in the SOMA festival hall with the Music Association Ratten and the Goaßsteigbuam
• 1:00 p.m.: Opening with Mayor Silvia Karelly 
  followed by traditional autumn whipping 
• 1:15 p.m. Folk dance group Fischbach
• Culinary & Arts and Crafts trade fair in the Teufelstein hall 
• Fashion show and magic show with Paul Sommersguter in the SOMA hall 
• 2:30 p.m. District forestry competition of the rural youth
• 6:00 p.m. Award ceremony for the rural youth district forestry competition
  

Monday:

• 11:00 a.m.: Ägydi central livestock market with auction
• 12:30 p.m. "Die Joglländer"
• 4:00 p.m.  Raffle drawing under notarial supervision Main prize € 10,000,-
