A small but fine Advent market with handcrafted products from the region takes place at the Rettenegger Dorfstadl. In addition, one can view the self-built nativity scenes from nativity scene building courses. The market is musically accompanied by the music students. There is also excellent provision for physical well-being.

- November 21, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A special highlight from the first Advent weekend until mid-January in Rettenegg is the nativity scene trail, which leads directly through the village. Along the way, beautiful, handmade, and illuminated nativity scenes can be admired in the evening.
Starting point is at the Simml Chapel right at the beginning of the village, where folders with route descriptions are also available. The destination is the nativity scene at the Rettenegger Dorfstadl.
