A practical afternoon focusing on biodiversity and close-to-nature forest management:
How resilient are our forests to drought and heat? How do we create resilient, climate-fit forest ecosystems? What measures can be taken in managed forests to promote diversity?

Program:

• From 2:00 p.m.
• Diversity and habitat connectivity for resilient forest ecosystems, Thomas Frieß, Ökoteam Graz
• Nature conservation in the European protected area Raabklamm, Lorenz Wido Gunczy, BBL Hartberg
• Wood: Brilliant building material and energy supplier at your doorstep, Martin Auer-Sattler, KEM
• From 3:30 p.m.: Excursion as part of the Green Tables in the "Habitat Connectivity in Almenland Nature Park" project with Julian della Pietra (Forest Office Gutenberg) and Johannes Schaffler (WWG Almenland)

Please remember to wear suitable footwear and bring rain protection if necessary.
