Myths, Secrets, and the Prime Meridian of Good Taste!
The Apple Men open the doors to their mysterious world and grant a rare glimpse into their work and actions. Experience the special atmosphere, discover the secrets behind the Abakus, and be there when the ABAKUS 2025 is presented. An evening filled with tradition, enjoyment, and Styria's apple culture.
THE ABAKUS – unique apple schnapps from Puch
Far-sighted and bold men from the region around the apple village of Puch came together many years ago to create the highest spiritual essence of the Styrian apple. The Abakus – as this special schnapps is named – is produced under strictest confidentiality and in full compliance with the rules of the Apple Men, exclusively from the best apples of each vintage.
Strictly regulated 1444 bottles per vintage are distilled by the Apple Men from the very best apples. The Abakus gently matures for at least 1 year on clay bricks from the Celtic Mountain Kulm in the cool realms of the Apple House, before it is presented in a ceremonial event and released for sale.
It is already considered the "Prime Meridian of Good Taste" and will delight all those who prove themselves worthy and equal to it.
Entry with spiced apple juice from 7:00 p.m. - Start: 7:30 p.m.
