The 15th Night of Fado once again brings the distinctive atmosphere of Lisbon to the forumKLOSTER Gleisdorf on 21.02.2027.
With Beatriz Felício, one of the most exciting young voices of the Portuguese Fado scene is performing in Gleisdorf. The expressive singer is already regarded as a great hope of the genre and is referred to by connoisseurs as a possible "new Amália." After successes on "The Voice," at WOMEX, and in renowned Fado houses in Lisbon, she is now among the rising artists of Portugal. Alongside her is Carlos Leitao, singer, guitarist, and composer. He has worked with numerous luminaries of the Fado scene and has made a name for himself with his award-winning compositions. His current program combines traditional Fado with modern influences as well as African and Cape Verdean elements. Beatriz Felício and Carlos Leitao are accompanied by Henrique Leitao on the Portuguese guitar and Carlos Menezes on acoustic bass. An evening full of passion, melancholy, and musical intensity.
