Spend your break at Landgasthof Orthofer. Located right in the heart of Styria, 1,134 meters above sea-level, the house offers a breath-taking panorama of the Fischbach alps, Pretul and Stuhleck.
The guest house is the perfect starting point for hikes through the surrounding mountains and alpine meadows. Follow in the footsteps of Peter Rosegger, Styria’s famous poet and author who grew up in the region and had great love for his home. The region also has a great deal to offer for mountain bikers The 187km long mountain bike trail, “big Jogl”, is a real treat for any biking enthusiast. Make the most of our e-bike rental service.
Our very own farm offers an experience for our littlest guests. On our farm we keep pigs, ponies, cats, rabbits and pygmy goats who are just waiting to be stroked. During the holidays, we also offer special children’s programmes.
With all stays of at least one night, you will also receive the East-Styria Genuss Card which you can use to get free admission on over 120 excursions throughout the region. And when you want to take it easy you can relax at our wellness site with its sauna and infra-red cabin.
