The L713 Kaiseraustraße will be closed to traffic in the vicinity of the railway crossing in Admont from:
Tuesday 25 August 2026 to Friday 28 August 2026, from 8.00 pm to 6.00 am each day
Saturday 12 September 2026 to Sunday 20 September 2026, from 8.00 pm to 6.00 am each day
in both directions.
An alternative route is available via Reinalter/ADEG.
Stage 7 of the Gesäuse Hüttenrunde, Trail No. 601, Pyhrgasgatterl, Scheiblingstein, is affected
Closed from 24 August 2026 until, provisionally, 25 September 2026
Additional distance compared to the original route: + 2,3 km
Additional elevation gain compared to the original route: +70 hm
The diversion is provisionally signposted.
UMLEITUNG 07 Admonterhaus - Rohrauerhaus, Gesäuse Hüttenrunde
Due to bark beetle control work, the Buchsteinrunde MTB route is closed from the Gamssteinhals junction to the Moaralm junction. The closure is in force from 27 July 2026 to 7 August 2026. Notice will be given should the closure be lifted early.
The route from Großreifling to Palfau via the Waidtal valley is open to cyclists without any obstructions.

The Nothklammweg is now open again as far as the Steinkugelmühle and for a short stretch into the Nothklamm gorge. Access to the Kraushöhle remains possible.
The Nothklammsteg (on the map: section from point 2 to point 4) remains closed.
Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to walk the entire gorge trail. Visitors can currently walk as far as the Steinkugelmühle mill and must then return along the same route. We apologise for any inconvenience and recommend that you take this into account when planning your trip.
This closure affects stage 2 of the Buchstein circular walk.
Closure due to timber clearance – diversion via the Torsattelrunde
Affected routes: Stage 05 Trans National Park; Luchs Trail Stage 08; Buchsteinrunde Stage 2;
From 24 August 2026 to 11 September 2026, a rail replacement service will operate on the Garsten – Weißenbach-St. Gallen section and
also at the start and end of the day between St. Valentin and Garsten.
ÖBB advises passengers to check their connections before travelling, to note the locations of the
stops on the rail replacement service and to allow extra time. Timetable information:

Please note: For safety reasons and due to works in the immediate vicinity, the
Ennstal Cycle Path between Kastenreith and Kleinreifling will also be
closed from 24 August to 11 September.
