Hiking pins
Does collecting make you just as happy as hiking? Then hike your way to one of the Gesäuse hiking pins.
Put on your walking boots, get set, go!
There are a total of 12 mountain huts and you can earn three different hiking pins:
Gesäuse Beginner – 4 mountain huts – BRONZE hiking pin
Gesäuse Expert – 8 mountain huts – SILVER hiking pin
Gesäuse Pro – 12 mountain huts – GOLD hiking pin
Paper hiking pass
You can obtain your printed hiking pass at one of the mountain huts or at the Admont tourist office and collect a stamp at each hut you visit. Of course, once you have achieved the bronze or silver badge, you can continue hiking until you achieve the gold badge.
Digital hiking pass
Summitlynx is a digital hut and tour book that ensures you never forget a summit or tour again – available worldwide and always with you! Download the Summitlynx app to your mobile phone (available in the App Store and on Google Play) and get a digital stamp at each hut. You don't need the internet, but GPS must be switched on. The app also works offline. Once you have achieved a hiking pin, you will receive your certificate directly on your smartphone and can collect your hiking pin from the Admont Information Office.
