From culture to mountains – this cycling route has a lot to offer. If road traffic doesn't bother you, you can start directly in Admont. Alternatively, you can also start from Kaiserau and cycle on the quiet toll road to the hut.

Route description

First, comfortably roll through Admont to warm up. Then you follow the road to the Kaiserau. It winds higher and higher, offering beautiful valley views and running mostly in the shade—a big advantage on hot summer days. Once you reach the Kaiserau, turn left and literally head towards the mountains! In front of you, the Admonter Reichenstein, Hahnstein, and several other peaks appear. You follow the toll road (free for cyclists) until the Oberst Klinke Hut warmly welcomes you!
