From one hut to the next, uphill and downhill, through almost untouched nature: the Gesäuse Hüttenrunde shows you the Gesäuse from every conceivable perspective.

Of course, there is always an easier way up every mountain. With over 500 km of hiking trails and one of the highest densities of mountain huts in the Eastern Alps, nothing stands in the way of a multi-day hiking experience in Styria's only national park. The best way to experience the whole of the Gesäuse in one go is on the Gesäuse Hüttenrunde. From hut to hut and even completely flexible, numerous variants and mobile without your own car, there is no better way to hike the alpine Gesäuse.

In the Gesäuse, you can get around in summer even without your own car. Just call t: +43 3613 21 000 99: during operating hours, the Gesäuse shared taxi will take you to any destination in the Gesäuse – no timetable or stops required.

Parking facilities are available at the respective starting points, which are subject to a charge, especially in the Gesäuse National Park area.
