Gasthaus Steinmetz

In 1952, hungry and tired workers, hikers, travellers (maybe even holidaymakers) always found a cosy place to sleep and a tasty meal in the legendary "Gasthof und Fleischerei Roman Prentner", guest rooms with hot and cold running water/ central heating/bath, available by calling 46.

Hospitality has been the focus of our house for generations. In 1983 Monika and Franz Steinmetz bought the entire property and initiated the necessary modernisation steps. Over the past decades, our house has become a popular and indispensable centre for events, celebrations or simply cosy and relaxing moments for connoisseurs and holidaymakers.

Our establishment has also become a well-known and popular meeting place for locals, without which it would be difficult to imagine Rottenmann... We are already looking forward to welcoming you as guests in our house.
