In the cosy Oppenberg there is still one of the largest natural high moors in Styria. The moor hiking trail, wonderfully set in scene by nature, invites you to take long walks. The Rottenmanner Tauern right on the doorstep make flights of fancy come true. A hike on Blosn, Schüttkogel or the Seekoppe above the Ried lakes provide breathtaking nature experiences.

With heart and nature

One thing is immediately obvious about the Alpengasthof Grobbauer: the heart is in the matter here. There are a total of 7 rooms, each of which is individually furnished and boasts a magnificent view of nature. While in late summer the misty clouds rise into the glittering sunlight and immediately make you want to go hiking, in winter it is this incomparable snow panorama that makes you sigh contentedly in the evening in the in-house sauna: "Oh, how beautiful life can be."
