What do trees need to grow? A suitable location – which is significantly shaped by the forest soil. It provides nutrients and water, while countless small and microscopic organisms contribute to the nutrient cycle. Our trees have different requirements for water and nutrient supply. Therefore, the forest soil determines the tree species.
Questions and answers: During the forest walk, we will explore the secrets of the forest soil: What lies beneath the surface, what hints do indicator plants give us - and which tree species is suitable here?
