Open-Air-Konzert mit MAXJOSEPH – „NAU“
The band MAXJOSEPH presents their current program "NAU" on August 6, 2026, at a live concert in a charming setting.
The historical castle ruin, surrounded by the impressive mountain scenery of the Enns Valley, offers a special atmosphere for a summer concert evening.
Maxjoseph - Program "NAU" The lightest is the hardest – violin, Styrian harmonica, guitar, and tuba – four virtuoso musicians weave a dynamic, chamber music structure that blooms in an elegance and lightness that one would not expect in the context of folk music. In the improvisations, jazz shimmers, in the flawless interplay is the classical training, and in the manifold allusions, the wide horizon of four world citizens who are at the same time rooted in their homeland. This music resists any simple categorization and creates a delightful auditory confusion. Maxjoseph's music is not just a synthesis of high and low culture, of old and new, of folk music and classical – it is an invitation to a dialogue in which boundaries dissolve, yet one remains grounded, rooted in the homeland. "NAU" is the current album and program of the ensemble – music that has been missed not only in Bavaria but far beyond: light-footed, charming, and with extraordinary, fresh ideas that break clichés and interpret folk music in a completely new way.
Maxjoseph consists of: Georg Unterholzner - guitar Andreas Winkler - Styrian harmonica Nathanael Turban - violin Florian Mayrhofer - tuba
