Cinema at the Weidendom: Strudel, film & stars
Unfortunately, the cinema has to be canceled due to rainy weather.
A new date will be in 2027.
Open-air cinema under a starry sky at the Erlebniszentrum Weidendom.
Cinema under the open sky and under the stars of the Gesäuse – with three short films about climbing in the region:
“Always on the Edge: The First Ascent of Michi Kemeter's Dachinierer”
“Barbara Zangerl: Out of the Shadow of the Masters”
“The Gesäuse – Wild and Untamed”
In between, moderator Karoline Wöhri talks with mountain guide René Guhl about the history and future of climbing in the Gesäuse: from the history of first ascents to new first ascents, from mental strength and women on the mountain to the question of how much more the rock walls can tolerate.
Afterwards, there will be sweet and savory strudels from the Villmannsdorfgarten Rottenmann. Plus stars. Plus goosebumps.
Free admission!
