Frühlingsfest der Volksmusik in Liezen

Look forward to an atmospheric evening with popular artists from the local folk music scene.

For this, we have secured two absolute mainstays of folk music with the "Schneiderwirt Trio" and the "Geschwister Scharf", as well as two other very popular, renowned groups from our region: the "Ausseer Bradlmusi" and the "Altsteirer Trio Lemmerer".
The "Schneiderwirt Trio" – The legitimate successors of the legendary Kern Buam are among the currently most popular formations in the folk music scene, regularly creating great atmosphere with their lively pieces, most recently at the big "Wenn die Musi spielt" Open Air on ORF.
The "Geschwister Scharf" – The likable musicians from the Lavanttal captivate with their thrilling performance and create a genuine festive atmosphere with hearty melodies and well-known pieces – just as they did last year at the Liezener Stadtfest.
The "Ausseer Bradlmusi" – This outstanding group has represented authentic, traditional folk music from the Ausseerland for over 30 years. From the soulful fiddle yodel to hearty polkas and the popular Gstanzln with rhythmic clapping – genuine folk music is celebrated here!
The "Altsteirer Trio Lemmerer" – This traditional formation from the region needs no lengthy introduction. After many years, the beloved trio around Franz and Siegi Lemmerer is finally returning to Liezen to captivate the audience with their music.
The program will be hosted by Karl Edegger, who has already successfully accompanied numerous folk music events and customs festivals with his sympathetic and humorous moderation.
For culinary delights, the Landjugend Pyhrn-Liezen-Weißenbach will provide regional delicacies and Styrian wine specialties.
