Just before the Grabnerstein
No Göstinger without Grabneralm! Perhaps it's the alpine nature trail, the many goats, or the Grabneralm house (known as the “balcony to Göstinger”) that contributes to the significance of this special place?
From the Grabneralm, one enjoys a wonderful panoramic view of Göstinger in all its impressive splendor. You actually don't know which mountain group to look at first. And with such a view, life is good, as Christina and Philipp, who manage and live in the Grabneralm house, also know. Philipp ensures good taste in the kitchen, while Christina takes care of the guests' well-being.
Always popular
The family-friendly Grabneralm is in high demand. In the warm months, many like to ride their mountain bikes from the Buchauer Sattel to stop at the beloved Grabneralm. Christina and Philipp are also working energetically to ensure that both young and old feel comfortable there. There is a sun terrace, a campfire site, a large room for private celebrations, and brand new mattresses and rustic rooms to lounge in the alpine flair.
Feel the alm
A true classic is the hike from the Buchauer Sattel parking lot up to the alm. Then you can extend your hike toward Admonterhaus or to the flower mountain called Grabnerstein. However, it's also tempting to simply enjoy the alm. The friendly goats often pass by, providing milk for the cheese dairy a few meters below. The Grabneralm: A place to slow down and unwind.
