Farm in a sunny location with a beautiful view of the Gesäuse mountains, cozy garden house with barbecue area, books and games, infrared heat cabin.
We have since put dairy farming on hold, and today there is more space for relaxation and leisure on our farm. We, the Hörmann family, are happy to assist you and strive to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Eggs from our own chicken farming, homemade seasonal cakes, or homemade jams, of course, our holiday guests also get to enjoy all these good things.

The sun has just set, the sky bathed in pastel red, like artistic paper cuttings, the silhouettes on the horizon rise. Whether it’s the royal peaks of the Hochtor mountain chain, the majestic onion domes of the pilgrimage church of Frauenberg, or the gigantic ridge of Bosruck and Co. Here in Ardning, it is time to pause, look around, and look forward to tomorrow.
There are many excursion options in the Gesäuse. Whether it's a full-day trip, sports, or sightseeing, everything is just a stone's throw away from our farm. The pilgrimage church of Frauenberg with its Calvary or the Admont Abbey with its three major museums are must-sees for culture lovers. On hot days, the cool waters of the natural baths can be enjoyed in both Admont and Frauenberg. For those seeking adventure, a trip to the Pürgschachner Moor, to the Ardning Alm, or one of the Gesäuse huts is recommended. Whether a leisurely walk amidst the mountain panorama of Kaiserau or the steep climb to the Ennstaler Hut, the Gesäuse has something to offer for everyone.
