We use fresh local ingredients wherever possible and take pride in our Styrian cuisine. As a family, we love foraging ourselves and depending on the season offer for example wild garlic or mushrooms from the woods of the Eisenwurzen region.
For private events we can propose set menus with seasonal products and specialities. We offer half board for our guests staying overnight.

The senior chef of the house is an enthusiastic and passionate hunter and depending on the season and a little bit of luck we are proud to offer venison as our speciality. Our roasted venison dishes or hearty stews are well loved and well known across the county.
A good dish needs a good surrounding. In our case this is the quaint so called Stube, which is more than centuries old, and spreads the feeling of cosiness and tradition. Furthermore we offer a small but delicious wine list with selected Austrian wines and as a particularity a wine from the slovenian winery owned by the Bendediktinerstift Admont, Dveri Pax.
