Leobnerhütte
Information
The Leobner Hut is located at an altitude of 1,582m on the eastern slope of the 1,910m high Polster. It is a starting point for tours to the Polster, the Griesmauer, the TAC peak, the Hochturm in the Trenchtling massif, the Leobner Wall, or an ideal stopover during long-distance hikes.
The hut was built nearly 200 years ago as a miners' accommodation, and is correspondingly simple with rustic charm. 100 years ago, the house was expanded by the Leoben section of the ÖAV as a tourist accommodation, which is how the hut got its current name.
The dedicated landlords Sabine and Hermann serve their guests typical hut meals and emphasize regional products whenever possible. For example, there is country bread with farmer's bacon from the region or homemade Kaiserschmarren.
For overnight stays in the hut, there is a mattress dormitory with sleeping places for up to 20 people.

Conditions

Sleeping place inquiries are to be clarified directly with the hut hosts by telephone or by mail.
Dogs are not allowed in the camp without exception. So if you want to take your dog with you, this is possible in a twin-bedded room by arrangement.
Members of an alpine club and children receive reduced prices on the overnight stays, please ask directly.
