Thanks to the convenient transport connection, the cross-country skiing region in Hafning-Trofaiach can be easily reached. The 10-kilometer-long trail offers classic and skating skiers of all ages ideal conditions for a successful day of cross-country skiing.

And the day lasts here longer than elsewhere: thanks to the floodlight system, skiing is possible until 8.00 p.m. Many people like to stop by here after work and enjoy the magnificent landscape in a completely different light. Everything you need, such as changing facilities, ski rental, etc., is already available. So now it’s just a matter of getting onto the trail!

Interesting facts about the cross-country skiing region

• On the 10-kilometer-long trail, you can really give it your all. The 2.5-kilometer-long training trail also offers ideal conditions until 8.00 p.m. thanks to snowmaking and floodlighting.
• The cross-country skiing region is located at an altitude of 695 – 845 meters. Both classic cross-country skiing and skating are possible here.
• Cross-country skis can be rented on-site daily from 9.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.
• Parking and changing facilities are available directly at the trail entrance.
• For children and adolescents, the use of the trail is free until the age of 15.
• A cross-country skiing school is also available, offering individual lessons and group courses for children, adolescents, and adults.
• The cross-country skiing region of Trofaiach has been awarded the Styrian Trail Quality Seal.
• Thanks to a cooperation with the trail in the Eisenerzer Ramsau, combo season tickets are also available, allowing access to the trails in both regions.
