The anticipation for the Christkind is great, and the time until the gift-giving simply won't pass? On Thursday, December 24, 2026, the zoo invites you to a special Christmas experience and offers families a variety of ways to shorten the waiting time for the Christkind.
Until 2.00 p.m., visitors can discover the animal inhabitants and enjoy the festive atmosphere. A special highlight is the only reindeer and moose in Styria, which are sure to bring extra excitement for Christmas.
During the Christmas animal feedings, there are exciting insights into the animal world. For the little visitors, the Christmas puzzle fun provides entertainment and makes the time until the gift-giving fly by.
If you want to experience Christmas Eve in a particularly animal-friendly way, you can also participate in a Christmas alpaca and llama hike. A prior booking is required for this offer.
Cozy Advent atmosphere is also ensured: Enjoying a visit to the zoo is relaxed with mulled wine and children's punch.
