Organ concerts in the parish church of St. Xaver
- August 14: “From Figaro to Fugue”
- September 13: “Pure Mozart”
- October 4: “Flute & Violin & Organ”
Starting with the concert on August 14, 2026, titled “From Figaro to Fugue”, the internationally emerging concert organist Lukas Hasler, who received his first organ lessons at the Music and Arts School of Leoben, as well as the coloratura soprano Paulina Ovadkova, will be heard.
The second concert on September 13, 2026, will resonate under the motto “Mozart pure”. In addition to famous works such as “Exultate Jubilate” and “Laudate Dominum”, church sonatas will also be performed. The performers are Sara Lesser (soprano), a string ensemble conducted by Heinz Moser, as well as city parish organist Martin Österreicher at the organ.
To conclude the concert series on October 4, 2026, Harald Fripertinger (flute), Heidemarie Berliz-Schaumann (violin), and city parish organist Martin Österreicher will perform together at the organ. The program features trios from the music literature for flute, violin, and organ from the Baroque period to modern times.
