Look forward to a literary evening with Herbert Dutzler, one of the most successful Austrian crime authors. In his reading from “The Turntable Under the Roof Slope,” he takes the audience back to the time of his childhood and youth in Austria during the 1960s and 1970s.
Herbert Dutzler became famous mainly for his crime novels centered around the Altaussee policeman Gasperlmaier, which are among the most successful crime series in Austria. With his series featuring the protagonist Sigi, he shows a different side of his literary work and narrates with a lot of humor, sensitivity, and the flavor of the time about a bygone era.
The reading offers the opportunity to get to know the author personally and to dive into an atmospheric story full of memories and endearing everyday observations.
