Konzert: Dunkelgraue Lieder – Hommage an Ludwig Hirsch
On the occasion of the 80th birthday of Ludwig Hirsch, the concert tour “Dunkelgraue Lieder – Homage to Ludwig Hirsch” will take place on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 7.30 p.m. at Live Congress Leoben.
Ludwig Hirsch profoundly influenced the Austrian music scene like hardly anyone else with his profound, melancholic, and simultaneously humorous songs. Classics such as “Die Omama”, “Spuck den Schnuller aus”, “Der Herr Haslinger”, “I lieg am Ruckn”, and “Komm großer schwarzer Vogel” remain unforgettable to this day and are among the most significant works of Austropop.
Together with his long-time companion, band leader, and guitarist Johnny Bertl, Wolf Bachofner, Felix Kramer, Kaspar Simonischek, and Jo Bertl interpret the songs of the exceptional artist. The concert will be complemented by personal stories and anecdotes from Ludwig Hirsch's life, as well as rarely heard songs from his extensive work.
Look forward to an emotional concert evening that honors the legacy of one of the greatest Austrian songwriters with respect, musical diversity, and much feeling.
