Markus Hirtler has worked for over 20 years as a nurse, nursing service manager, home manager, and social manager. He created the character Ermi-Oma to raise his voice for those who are not often heard in our "age disposal society." The award-winning cabaret artist portrays the nursing home resident lovingly, multifacetedly, and with great empathy.
