Jugend-Literaturwerkstatt: Schreibcamp

Do you enjoy writing stories or poems and long for a group of fellow writers with whom you can discuss and edit your texts? Are you looking for an exchange of ideas, writing prompts, and would you like to present your stories in front of an audience? The Youth Literature Workshop Graz has been supporting children and young people for over 30 years and will once again organize the Writing Time Leoben this summer in cooperation with the city of Leoben.
Here, the city library of Leoben, with its numerous writing spaces, becomes a place of creativity for around a dozen story writers aged ten to 18 years. Writing excursions in the city offer both variety and inspiration, and an exciting evening program at Hotel Kindler, where participants will also stay overnight, rounds off the days. The participants are supported by a dedicated team consisting of former literary workshop participants Julia Hofer, Sophia Lehner, and Marie Pichler. Together, they provide the group with valuable suggestions so that their own ideas can mature into finished texts.
The participation fee, including supervision, accommodation, and meals, amounts to 280 euros.
Final Reading
As a special highlight, the public final reading will take place on August 21 at 6:30 p.m. where the freshly created stories will be presented to an audience. Subsequently, these will also be published as a book in the first edition series.
