Gösser Kirtag
The 188th Gösser Kirtag invites you to Leoben for one of the longest stall streets in Austria with traditional Kirtag festivities, music, regional cuisine, and customs.
The Gösser Kirtag is one of the most traditional events in Styria and attracts thousands of visitors to Leoben every year. On Thursday, October 8, 2026, the main square and Gösser Street will transform starting at 9.00 a.m. into one of the longest market streets in Austria.
Opening & Program in Göss - Intersection Nagelschmiedgasse
- 09:00 a.m.: Platzkonzert of the Gösser Music Association
- 09:30 a.m.: Opening and beer tapping with Mayor Kurt Wallner, Harry Prünster, and the Gösser Music Association
- 10:00 a.m.: Platzkonzert of the Gösser Music Association
- 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.: Frühschoppen with the Gösser Musicians
- 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Natascha – the Styrian girl
- 5:15 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.: DJ Partyhirsch

- 10:45 a.m.: Musical kickoff with Die Steirisch Böhmische
