GenussReich-Fest

The GenussReich Festival in Kammern is all about regionality, enjoyment, and lived craftsmanship. For more than ten years, the culinary initiative Steirische Eisenstraße – GenussReich Erzberg Leoben has been organizing this popular festival, inviting everyone for the first time this year to enjoy and experience it over two days.

On October 17 and 18, 2026, the Kammern marketplace will transform into a meeting point for all those who want to discover regional specialties, traditional crafts, and the people behind the region’s products. Visitors can look forward to a varied program including moderated show cooking, an all-day children's program, musical performances, a traditional costume fashion show, and a raffle.

On Saturday, the festival starts at 11:00 a.m. with a welcome and opening by the village band. At 2:00 p.m., there will be a concert performance by the Mautern music school, followed by the raffle at 5:00 p.m. The festival ends at 6:00 p.m.

Sunday begins at 10:00 a.m. with a holy mass. From 11:00 a.m., the welcome and a morning gathering with the market band provide musical entertainment. At 2:00 p.m., Trachten Feiler will present a fashion show, and at 4:00 p.m., the raffle will conclude the program. The event ends at 5:00 p.m.

The show cooking and the children's program will take place at various times on both days and will be moderated on-site.

Event location is the Kammern marketplace. In case of bad weather, the GenussReich festival will be moved to the Heimatsaal Kammern.
