The traditional Fitmarsch invites you to a communal hike from Leoben to Göss on National Day, featuring music, refreshments, and attractive prizes.
On National Day, Monday, October 26, 2026, it’s time again: Be active together at the traditional Fitmarch in Leoben. The popular event combines movement in nature with socializing and is suitable for the whole family. Participation is free.
The day begins at 8.00 a.m. with a joint breakfast and musical accompaniment at the Leoben Main Square. The start of the Fitmarch takes place at 9.00 a.m..
The route leads – as in previous years – from the Leoben Main Square over the Maßenburg, the Pampichlerwarte, and the Windischberg to the Rüsthaus of the Volunteer Fire Brigade Göss.
There, participants can look forward to a cozy closing event with live music, a light snack, the award ceremony, and a raffle of attractive prizes. The end of the event is scheduled for around 1.30 p.m..
