A three-day metal festival in Leoben with international top acts, heavy guitar riffs, and an unparalleled festival atmosphere.
From July 14 to July 17, 2027, Leoben will once again become the meeting point of the international metal scene: The AREA 53 Festival unites international top acts, emerging newcomers, and a distinctive festival atmosphere in an extraordinary setting.
For four days, visitors can expect a diverse program featuring energetic live concerts, camping options, a metal market, as well as a varied gastronomy offering. The festival combines high-caliber music with Styrian hospitality and provides a unique experience for metal fans from both near and far.
For the 2027 edition, confirmed acts include HammerFall, Eisbrecher, Grima, Ektomorf, Chuggaboom, and Ghidrah. Additionally, Jazz Gitti will provide a special highlight with a matinee performance.
