24. Jazznight in Trofaiach

The 24th Jazz Night Trofaiach invites you on Saturday, September 26, 2026, starting at 6.00 p.m. to a special concert evening at the Trofaiach sports hall. For many years, the Jazz Night has been a fixture in the regional cultural life and stands for high-quality live music, musical diversity, and a shared enthusiasm for music.

As a special guest, the renowned singer Sara de Blue will perform, known among other things for "The Voice of Germany" and international stage appearances. With her expressive voice and stage presence, she meets the powerful sound of the Big Band Trofaiach. Also joining is Gregor Bischops. The musical direction of the evening is in the hands of Gernot Strebl.

A significant part of the program is dedicated to musical newcomers: The jazz band of the Trofaiach music school gets the opportunity to gain stage experience at the Jazz Night as part of a large concert event. The interplay of young talents, experienced amateur musicians, and professional artists gives the event its special character and represents lived collaboration between generations.

More than 50 musicians are participating in this year's Jazz Night. Behind the concert evening lies around six months of intensive musical and organizational preparation. Numerous rehearsals, the development of the program, as well as technical and organizational planning are significantly supported by the voluntary commitment of those involved.

The Jazz Night thus sees itself not only as a concert but also as a strong signal for the vibrant music and cultural landscape of the region. It offers regional musicians a grand stage, promotes young talents, and shows what high-quality cultural events can be created through communal effort and musical passion.

Entry is by free donation. With this, the Big Band Trofaiach aims to make the concert evening accessible to as many visitors as possible and simultaneously support the long-term continuity of this regional cultural project.
