In the romantic inner courtyard, a vine provides shade for guests and creates an intimate atmosphere in the center of the city.

The coat of arms with the black dog has been adorning the front of house number 10 on the main square since 1895.
For years he kept watch over the cozy inner courtyard behind it, which seemed to have sunk into a deep slumber.

In the meantime, it's worth taking a detour behind the facade of the historic building, because the historic vaults have been generously renovated.

Stop by for a glass of wine with us. It pays off, because rumor has it that the Schwarzer Hund stores the largest range of wines in Upper Styria.
