Trout Farming Igler

In Austria's largest natural pond facility, pure alpine spring water with a temperature of 8 °C allows for the year-round production of rainbow & salmon trout, as well as various species of char.
The knowledge of fish farming has already been passed down through four generations in this business. In the hatchery, the heart of the facility, different fish species are raised from the egg stage. The fish are fed both manually and via a computer-controlled feeding system. Both fry for stream and pond stocking and market-ready food fish are bred and distributed across Austria with their own trucks.

For connoisseurs: 
Available are rainbow trout, chars, salmon trout, brook trout, either gutted or filleted, smoked and marinated fish products, fish spreads, fish terrine, fish jelly. On request, also available are tartar, caviar, and fish platters. Food fish available by pre-order.
