Forest Operation Hohenberg - Imperial Wild Delight

Emperor Karl gifted the Hohenberg estate to the descendants of Franz Ferdinand and it has been in family ownership ever since. It stretches from the Leopoldsteinersee to the Präbichl, offering plenty of nature for young and old alike. Attentive eyes can also spot the odd piece of game. 
The forestry operation is managed sustainably and is meeting the challenges of climate change. Nestled in the area is the Gsollalm, a popular destination for hikers at the foot of the Frauenmauer cave. This was already traversed by Empress Sissy.
