Eruption stands since 2004 for the power of the earth and the connection of the winemakers with it. The Eruption winemakers Franz J. Hutter, Stefan Müller, Stefan Krispel, Daniel Pfeifer, Josef Scharl, the Thaller family, Fritz Frühwirth, Alois Gollenz and Rupert Ulrich strive for wines with great individuality and high recognition value. The "Eruption" brand has certainly written a success story in the years of its existence.

The high quality of the wines of this southeast Styrian volcanic growing region has been made visible regionally, nationally and also on international terrain. The wines unfold their potential, which is inherent in the common conditions such as mild, Mediterranean climate, volcanic soils and the density of sunny days.

Eruption can be experienced at Terra Vulcania in Sankt Anna am Aigen and at the Eruption Wine Festival, which takes place annually at a different winery of the now nine Eruption winemakers.

What they have in common is not only their craft, their trust in the power of the soil, and their focus on their origins, but also, and above all, the high standards they set for themselves.
