Workshops for future-oriented tourism

To support the success of the project, a Competence Centre for Climate-Resilient Tourism will be established in the Thermen- & Vulkanland at the start of the project, including a platform for stakeholder collaboration.

Through a series of workshops, members of the platform exchange ideas on climate-related challenges and develop future tourism offers based on resilient value chains within the destination.

The first stakeholder workshop focused on developing and establishing a Competence Centre for Climate-Resilient Tourism. Representatives from various industries and organisations were invited to work together towards achieving Objective 1 of the project. The workshop explored the impacts of climate change on tourism and discussed concrete measures to promote climate-resilient tourism offers.
