On the “Uhudler Cycle Path”—as the name suggests—you cycle through the heart of Uhudler country and charming countryside.
The Uhudler Cycling Loop takes you on a varied route through the heart of the Uhudler region, connecting idyllic landscapes, small villages, and scenic hills in southern Burgenland. The route winds through forests and past vineyards and orchards, partly along the Lafnitz River and mostly through gently rolling terrain.
The loop offers both athletic challenges and numerous beautiful scenic views. Particularly charming are the sections along the Lafnitz floodplains and across the scenic highlands around the Hochkogl, the Rosenberg, and the Hamerlberg.

By car: South freeway (A2) to exit Riegersdorf, from here via the S7 in direction Budapest to exit Fürstenfeld, via Fürstenfels bypass to Bad Loipersdorf.

By car: on the A2 motorway in the direction of Vienna as far as the Riegersdorf exit, from here via the S7 in the direction of Budapest to the exit Fürstenfeld. From here via Fürstenfeld bypass to Bad Loipersdorf.
From Western Austria and Bavaria
By car: via Salzburg on the Phyrn freeway (A9) and the Süd freeway (A2) or via Carinthia on the Süd freeway (A2) to the Riegersdorf exit, from here via the S7 in the direction of Budapest to the exit Fürstenfeld. From here via Fürstenfeld bypass to Bad Loipersdorf.
From Italy or Slovenia
By car: via Villach on the southern freeway (A2) to the Riegersdorf exit or via Maribor on the Phyrn freeway (A9) and the southern freeway (A2) in the direction of Vienna to the Riegersdorf exit. From here via the S7 in the direction of Budapest to the exit Fürstenfeld. From here via Fürstenfeld bypass to Bad Loipersdorf.

Parking lot in front of the spa Loipersdorf
Start directly in front of the Loipersdorf thermal spa and turn right at the spa junction after the parking lots toward Gillersdorf/golf course. After about 500 m, turn left up the hill and follow Tour B71 for a short distance. At the chapel, keep left and continue towards Gillersdorf/Golf. You will find the junction with the Uhudler Cycle Path in Königsdorf. From there, follow the signs for B72.

Therme Loipersdorf - Gillersdorf - Königsdorf - Eltendorf - Hochkogel - Neustift b. Güssing - Güssing - Glasing - Heiligenbrunn - Reinersdorf - Großmürbisch - Inzenhof - Heiligenkreuz im Lafnitztal - Königsdorf - Therme Loipersdorf
The tour can be done on a touring bike, city bike, or even a road bike. Tip: It's always a good idea to bring basic tools and accessories such as a spare inner tube and/or repair kit, wrench, air pump, brake and gear cables, and a screwdriver.
