Under the motto "Active together" there are 8 leisurely hikes in the districts of Feldbach, which are accompanied by local hikers on fixed dates.

Accompanied joint hike
The tour is not signposted in the open countryside. Hiking is recommended with the hiking guide, Outdooractive app or gpx data. The joint hike is accompanied by Alois Krenn (Tel.: 0664/6429637).

What is special about guided hikes?
The gentle, steady movement during the hikes focuses our attention on the immediate surroundings and shows us the treasures that are waiting for us right outside our front door. Exercise in nature strengthens our immune system, invigorates muscles, organs and circulation, and activates our brain. Each of the 8 hiking trails is accompanied by a person who knows the route and knows about the special features along the way and in the surrounding area. The conversations in the hiking group are an additional enrichment, according to the motto: "LIVE TOGETHER IN DIVERSITY!"

We start at the Rüsthaus in Raabau opposite the Gsöls self-service store selling regional products. We can now always orient ourselves by the signs of the Kopfspur and hike along meadows and field paths past the Kaufmann fruit farm and the Raabauer Eisvogel, where we can treat ourselves to regional products. We continue along various berry gardens into a beautiful forest until we finally reach Lödersdorf. Here the "head track" of the "hiking trail network on the tracks of the volcanoes" ends and we walk along the platform at the train station in the direction of Feldbach and turn left to join the R11 bike path. We follow the R11 back to Raabau.

Proper backpack packing makes many things easier: Pack heavy things first. The water bottle should always be within reach in a side pocket. All the things that are often needed, such as sunglasses, camera or hiking map, belong on top. An emergency kit, including blister plasters, belongs in every rucksack and it is always advisable to dress in layers.
