This varied cycling route winds through the charming hilly landscape around Edelsbach and Eichkögl and offers ideal conditions for athletes, leisure cyclists, and families. Along the way, gentle climbs alternate with leisurely valley stretches and stunning viewpoints. Numerous places to stop invite you to enjoy regional specialties and homemade delicacies. Those who wish to explore the area more thoroughly can flexibly ride the route in sections or take short detours to special spots along the way. Thanks to the train connection, the tour is also ideal for planning your own custom routes.

The tour can be started at various points along the route, such as at the Rohr/Raab train station. From there, the route first leads to Edelsbach. It continues via Paalsdorf to Reithberg and then on toward Eichkögl. The route winds through the gentle rolling hills of the Thermen- & Vulkanland region and offers frequent beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

Along the way, wine taverns, local businesses, and cozy rest stops invite you to take enjoyable breaks. Those who prefer a shorter option can choose the combined "Fried Chicken Route" and "Wine Tavern Route". This starts at the Austrian Bridge Building Museum and offers a compact, enjoyable tour through the surrounding area.

The entire route can be customized. Sections of the route can be easily combined with a train trip to or from the starting point.

Be sure to take the time to stop at the many scenic overlooks along the route. A particularly delightful way to take a break is to stop at a local wine tavern and enjoy the scenery and the region’s culinary specialties at your leisure.
