At the oldest volcano in the region. The chestnut tour FB12 is one of a total of 14 forest and meadow tours in the region of Feldbach in the thermal and volcanic country of Styria.

This tour owes its name to the mighty chestnut forests on the back of the Gleichenberger Kogeln, the oldest volcano in the Styrian Volcanic Land. Around 16 million years ago, it made a powerful contribution to the current shape of the region. Along the route, many an enjoyable stop is possible, such as at the traditional Kulmberghof inn.

This tour is very nice and also not very demanding. There is some time to go to the nice shopping and district capital Feldbach.
