Quiet and yet central on the Eastern Styria Roman Wine Route lies the winery Buschenschank Pieber.

Enjoy the beautiful view over the village of Bad Waltersdorf from the cozy terrace and savor the homemade specialties and the quality wines.

On the hillside directly behind the Buschenschank, the vine areas begin, which are also clearly visible from the outdoor pools of the wellness spa. The 1.5-hectare cultivation area features varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Welschriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Blauer Wildbacher (Schilcher), Blauer Zweigelt, and Sämling, which mature into quality wines in steel tanks after harvesting.

The best way to appreciate the excellent quality of the wines is through a tasting, which is offered continuously when the Buschenschank is open or by prior arrangement via telephone. You can also take these delights home in a beautiful 0.7 l bottle.

The newly renovated guesthouse also invites you to linger and stay longer. Don’t miss the large variety of homemade smoked goods, creative spreads, and traditional pastries.

Farm gate sales: pumpkin seed oil, apple juice, fruit juices, wine, cider, sparkling wine, apples - all produced in-house.
