Steintal Alpacas

Located near Tieschen in southeastern Styria, in the so-called Steintal, away from the main roads and surrounded by vineyards, meadows, and forests, lies the small cadastral community of Grössing in the southern part of the theme region & volcanic area of Styria. In the center of Grössing, the "Steintal-Alpaka" farm was created from a former farm (locally known as Weber) after a three-year renovation period from 2017 to 2019!

If you would like to get to know our alpacas, learn more about them, and pet them, you are welcome to visit us at the farm after prior notification. Just request an appointment and indicate your preferred time.

Experience hiking and trekking with alpacas: enjoy the beauty of nature in the company of these cuddly animals. – the hike will definitely be an unforgettable experience. With an introduction and getting to know the animals (approx. 20 min), we learn respectful handling of the animals. The route then takes us through forests and meadows on different paths.

In our farm shop at the Steintal-Alpaka farm, you can experience the quality of this natural product for yourself. We offer a wide range of socks and knee-highs, scarves, hats and gloves, arm warmers, sweaters, jackets, coats, capes and ponchos, sofa blankets, and special little items. Visit us! You can find our fiber in all insoles, quilted blankets, seat cushions, and partly in yarn!

In addition to the wool products produced by ourselves, we exclusively carry products from brands that convince us with consistent quality and careful processing.
