Grazertorplatz

 The southern end of Langgasse is marked by Grazertorplatz.
Here stood the so-called Grazertor until the year 1878.
The square is characterized by a dominant building from the historicism period.
It was designed by the Graz architect Leopold Theyer and is now the seat of the tax office.
On the green space next to it stands the "Russendenkmal", which was located in the main square from 1945 to 1958.
It commemorates the Soviet occupation after World War II.
The tower opposite is referred to as the "Puchhaus".
Here was the blacksmith shop of Anton Gerschack, where Johann Puch, the founder of the Graz Puch works, completed his apprenticeship.
The facade design is by the artist and restorer Dina Kerciku.
