My paintings are created as a reflection on a visual impression, be it a landscape, an element, a mood or a fragment from botany.

While in earlier years these were depictions of cityscapes, plants, elemental events, eruptive forces of elemental forces in watercolor, acrylic, oil or mixed media, I later turned to collages in which a found object from a photo fragment, a textile remnant, various papers or diverse objects gave wings to my imagination.
