Unique jewelry and painting in a kind of fusion show Gertrude and Stefan Maitz in their studio in Höflach. "Eine Art Werkstatt" is the name of the place that is the working and exhibition space, indeed the living space of the artist couple, who realized their dream of an open cultural venue in 1998.

Even from the outside, "Eine Art Werkstatt" stands out unmistakably from its surroundings. Inside the simple natural wood cube, Gertrude and Stefan Maitz have set up their work areas. Gertrude Maitz makes jewelry art of a special kind: necklaces made of ceramics, each one unique in shape, color, workmanship.

He is also concerned with all this, but he has found his means of expression in painting. Rooting and crossing borders are terms that can be applied to the works.

A withdrawn working was never in their sense. They welcome visitors, art lovers and people interested in buying their works at any time. However, it is advisable to make an appointment for a visit.
