Our chronicle
The oldest preserved document of the pharmacy building is the tax bill from 1604, but the building is certainly older and dates back to the time of the main square expansion at the end of the 15th century. The oldest news about the pharmacy can be found in a council protocol from 1657 about the grant and 1658 about the foundation. After an interruption during the Kuruzzen period and several changes of ownership, Vinzenz Trousil acquired the house and the pharmacy belonging to it on 1.1.1900. He was previously the owner of the royal court pharmacy in Meran and co-founder of industrial and commercial enterprises in the Murztal. Since that time the house has been owned by the Trousil family.
