The Celtic tree circle (Celtic tree horoscope) does not go back to the Celts, as the name suggests, but is an invention of the 20th century. Despite all this, it has become widespread and is regarded by many people as part of their outlook on life.
Of course, old myths and beliefs of the Celts are incorporated in this Celtic tree circle, for example that the whole of nature is animated. Based on these ideas, months were assigned to the different characteristics of the tree beings, which then result in the Celtic tree horoscope.
